lucia and i keep all of our european magazines and some others that are just to fabulous to throw away and i happen stumble upon a pretty great sale item at the container store yesterday.
these guys are only $4.99 each which i think is a steal and just as cheap as ikea. pair a handful magazine files with this bookcase and call me a happy girl.

i also love that she has framed art propped up agains the wall on the desk. its a great design tool to make art seem less formal, or just to rotate pieces you love more often. and don't forget that "art" doesnt have to mean the next degas - everyday items that are framed (maps, postcards etc) add a great personal touch!
a) i spent yesterday wandering the aisles of the container store! i love that place.
b) i too LOVE propping frames against the wall. i have 2 large frames propped up now!
